These 10th century baths are all that remain of the Arab city of Medina Mayurqa. These Majorca baths remain the last testimony of 300 years of Moor presence on the island. This is one of the most visited attractions in Palma de Mallorca. It's layout is similar to Moorish baths found in other locations. The tepidarium has a dome in the shape of a half orange, with 25 round shafts for sun light, supported by 12 columns. Although there are others baths in Spain, this is the only remaining Moorish architecture in Palma de Majorca, making this attraction particularly significant and special.

To the south of the Town Hall is the Palacio Ayamans, which now houses the Museo de Mallorca, with collections of Moorish, medieval and 18th/19th century art. This Museum was originally an elaborate mansion built in 1643 by Miguel Luis de Togores.
Billed as Mallorca's most important museum, The "Museu de Mallorca" contains some fascinating exhibits as well as important archaeological remains: Talayotic figures, Moorish ceramics, Gothic panels and a huge collection of weapons, ornaments and spiritual symbols relating to the island's first settlers are found here. In this museum you can also find a portrait of Robert Graves, the English author who lived in Majorca, as well as several pieces by Juli Ramis (1909-1990) in his expressionist style. The building that houses the museum, is a 17th-century palace built on the foundations of one of Mallorca's earliest Arab houses.

To the east of Santa Eulalia, in Plaza de San Francisco, is the church of San Francisco, one of the city’s finest churches built between 1281 and 1317, with a Plateresque/Baroque doorway. This church has a plateresque façade designed by Francisco Herrera. Inside the church you can find the tomb of the medieval philosopher Ramón Llull and outside, stands the statue of Fray Junípero.
Be careful if you walk around the church, specially at night; because its streets, once home to jewellers and Jewish traders, are now seedy and dangerous.
