DOCUMENTATION:
  • Original ocean bill of lading / air waybill
  • Copy of passport showing last entry stamp by police or a photocopy legalized by notary republic
  • Legalized Inventory showing content of cartons with customs values shown for each item
  • Visa from Spanish Consulate in country of leaving
  • Original residence/work permit or legalized photocopy
  • Application for duty free importation

  • Firearms/weapons Fire arms and ammunition are subject to special regulation and should not be included with HHG/PE. Special permits are required and issued through the Spanish authorities.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES / TOBACCO:
Not prohibited items, but may only be shipped in moderate quantities.

DUTIES:
If required documents are presented to customs and HHG/PE have been used and owned by the shipper for a minimum of 6 months before departure from previous residence, they are generally duty free.

VEHICLES:
Documents of registry is required certifying the vehicle has been owned by customer for at least 6 months before release to contract abroad. Duty free but subject to 13% registration fee.
