Email in Spain
You can sign up for a free-of-charge internet e-mail account and send messages, photos, files, etc. to your family and friends while you enjoy a holiday in Spain. The most common websites providing an e-mail address for free are Google (www.google.com or www.gmail.com), Yahoo (mail.yahoo.com) and Hotmail (www.hotmail.com). However, many of countries have its own web sites that are provided for free (for example, Italian Tiscali).
Sometimes it may happen that you have to check and reply to your work e-mail. In such case, you will be provided with a remote access to your e-address.
Anyway, you will be able to check any of your e-mail addresses from an internet cafes located at numerous sites in Spain (especially big cities or holiday resorts) or from your hotel that most likely, offers a Wi-Fi connection. So if you have a laptop with you, don't forget to ask in your hotel reception about this option.
