Madrid, besides being the capital of the country, it is also one of the Spanish cities that receives more tourists per year. For this reason, there are many restaurants in the city where you can try the traditional food; not only from the city but from the country in general.

Let’s talk about the food in Madrid. In Madrid, you can find a lot of restaurants that offer different types of food: vegetarian, seafood, steak, international, mediterranean, etc.

  • Botin Restaurant

    Schedule: It is open every day from 1pm to 4p.m. and from 8pm to 12 a.m.
    It holds the Guinness Record for being the oldest restaurant in the world; it was found in 1725. It is a combination of good food, excellent service and tradition. Without a doubt, it is one of the most representative restaurants in Madrid. Its main dishes are El Cochinillo and Morcilla de Burgos.

    It is a vegetarian restaurant which does not only offer the regular food service; it has a vegetarian buffet, where you can find everything that you would like from appetizers to desserts. Some of its most popular dishes are the Vegetarian Burgers and Milhojas de Seitan with mushrooms.

    La Trainera is a restaurant that specializes in seafood. It has a principal room for 300 people but it also has private rooms. This restaurant is recognized for the quality of its products as well as for its boat-like decoration.
