Outside of Ibiza City
Outside the city, there are many places to see and know as well. For instance, Santa Eulalia del Río, which is a peaceful touristic city, is focused more on family tourism. The main street is la calle San Jaime, which is full of bars and cafés and divides the city in two. This city has several well equipped beaches with fine sand and crystal clear water, such as Santa Eulalia beach, Cala Mariners, Cala de S'Alga. Another point of interest could be "Jesús", a village located 3 kms from Ibiza capital. It has an interesting 16th century church built upon an ancient renaissance monastery.
San Antonio Abad de Portmany is a fishing village well known for its nightlife. This village is located in a bay opposite Sa Conillera island. By day its a quiet city but at night there are a lot of people out on the streets looking for nightlife, many of them foreigners. SantaAgnès chapel (an ancient Paleochristian temple) is located on the outskirts of the city on the Northern road. Another fish village Poblat Fenici de Sa Caleta, which is located in the Southwest of the island, was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1990, since in the 1980s remains of a Phoenician settlement were discovered. Another places to visit are Ses Salinas Nature Reserve, Cala Portinatx, Cala San Vicente.
