Except for Formentera; Majorca, Ibiza and Menorca have their own airports. There is only one airport in Ibiza (Ibiza Airport). Ibiza is very well connected to the Spanish mainland with flights from Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Alicante. Seven daily flights connect Ibiza with Palma de Majorca, and three flights a day arrive from Barcelona. It's possible to take one of two daily flights from Valencia or one of three from Madrid.

Ibiza is 2 hours and 15 minutes flying time from London. Buses and taxis take passengers to the city center within half an hour for affordable rates. Majorca and Ibiza Airports operate flights from many Spanish and European destinations.Menorca Airport operates flights from and to Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Palma de Majorca and London. From the airport of Ibiza you arrive to virtually any point of the island by public transport, or you can rent a car.

Arriving by ship is much slower, but more romantical. Ships to Ibiza leave from all major Spanish ports. The Island Formentera is only accessible by boat from Ibiza. The other three islands are all connected to the Spanish mainland by several ferry lines. There are two main ferry companies that offer regular crosses to and between the islands. Rates for inter-island ferries can be quite high, and for journeys such as Ibiza-Majorca or even Majorca-Menorca it can sometimes be better value to fly. It’s a good idea to book ahead – a few days beforehand is usually sufficient. If you sail from Valencia to Ibiza, for instance, it costs €65, while Valencia toPalma is €115.
