Maps of Girona
The city is located in the northeast of Cataluña and it is the capital of the province of the same name and of the Comarca of the Girones. Its total area is 39, 1 km². It is bordered on the north by San Julián de Ramis and Sarria de Ter, on the east by Celrá, on the southeast by Juyá and Quart, on the southwest by Fornells de la Selva, Vilablareix and Salt and on the west by San Gregorio.
Girona is crossed by the rivers Ter, Güell, Galligans and Onar. It is 75 meters above sea level.
