Spanish restaurants always include typical dishes in their menus to attract tourists, A favorite for foreigners and locals a like are the "Tapas" (Spanish typical Snacks) and "raciones". Spanish restaurants are oriented to particular kinds of cuisine, and there will always be a chef willing to offer his/herown creations in a restaurant. Spanish cuisine has been largely influenced by immigrants who arrived to live in Spain, so there are many ethnic restaurants around the country, especially in big cities such as Madrid, Barcelona and Andalucía.
Spanish restaurants are officially ranked from 5-fork (luxury) to 1-fork (4th class), ifyou walk around the Spanish cities, you will see the ratings designated by forks on a sign outside each restaurant; they are based on the number of dishes served in a specific category, not on the quality of the restaurant.
