Located inside a grand Renaissance palace, over the ruins of the Roman Theatre, in this museum you'll see traces of culture and civilization that once existed in Cordoba. You'll find in "El Museo Arqueológico" several prehistoric, Iberian, Roman, Visigoth, Moslem and renaissance artifacts.

This museum is specially interesting because of the old-iberian Lion of Nueva Cartella, the Roman Head of Drusus, the visigothic Treasure of Donjimeno and the Arabian Bronce-Stag of Medina Azahara, among other antiques.
