You can come to Cadiz any time but it's recommendable to arrive during the summer, more specially in February, in order to enjoy the Cádiz Carnival.

There are many tourism office in Cádiz. You can find one of them on Avda. Ramón de Carranza near to Plaza de San Juan de Dios (Open: Mon 9am-2pm, Tues-Fri 9am-7pm, Sat 9am-2pm). Another tourism office "turismo municipal" is on the Plaza San Juan de Dios (Mon-Fri 9am-2pm & 5-8pm, Sat & Sun 10am-1.30pm & 5-7.30pm).

By train
The train station is just off the Plaza de Sevilla with up to 20 cercanias run daily to and from El Puerto de Santa Maria and Jerez de la Frontera and up to 12 regional lines to and from Seville. If you want to come by train you'll find yourself on the periphery of the old town, close to the Plaza de San Juan de Dios. If you wanna visit the province, the train is not the best way, as there is only one line between Cadiz and Sevilla, but not to the "white villages" nor to the coast.

By bus
If you want to come to Cadiz by bus, keep in mind that you will arrive either at the Los Amarillos terminal between Plaza San Juan de Dios and the port (which is used by buses from Rota, Chipiona and the resorts west of Cádiz) or at the Autobuses Comes station on Plaza de la Hispanidad (used by buses from Sevilla, Tarifa and most other destinations). Buses to Madrid run up to six times daily by Sevibus from Plaza Elios. There are also three or more daily to Arcos de la Frontera, Ronda and Malaga.

By plane
Near Cádiz are two airports: Jerez Airport, which is 40 km apart from Cádiz and 10 km apart from Jerez, and Sevilla Airport, which is 125 km apart from Cádiz. The "Aeropuerto de Jerez" is the only airport in the province. From the airport take the N-IV to go to Cádiz. The airport of Sevilla is 135km away from Cádiz, Málaga 247km and Granada 285km.
