This city exults life 24/7, and boasts centuries of history through its incredible Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance monuments. This city is a 2,000-year-old master piece of perpetual art novelty.
The best season to visit this city is in Autumn, when the heat of the weather decreases to a comfortable breeze and is not as crowded by tourists as the rest of the year, especially in August, when most European countries enjoy vacation and you’ll find the oncoming traffic from France, Netherlands and Germany starts to look like a migration. On this season you can also enjoy a swim through the ocean, which despite the temperature drop remains warm enough to swim, and on September 24 you can be part of the Festes de la Mercè, the biggest street party of the city.

You can get to Barcelona by airplane, the national airline is Iberia, one of the One World Airlines, but there are also many options like Air Europa, Delta, British airways, Quantas, Singapore Airlines, and many others that have flights available in a daily basis. If you’re going through London make sure the airline that you take is a member of IATA, ABTA or ATOL so you can be protected if anything happens. Other options to reach Barcelona by land are by car, rented or otherwise, or by train, which is considered to be faster than the former.
