Due to its amazing culture, Jaen is one of the most visited cities in Spain. The museums are some of the main attractions in Jaen. Visiting them, people can learn about the culture and history of the city, for example know that Romans, Phoenicians, Carthaginians and the Moorish conquered this region. As many museums in the world, people can appreciate many artworks such as paintings, sculptures, and archeological pieces.

Some of the most important museums of Jaen are:

The Centro cultural Palacio de Villardompardo is considered one of the most important monuments in Jaen; it is located in Magdalena neighborhood. It is an amazing palace built in 1592.

It was built on the top of the largest Arab baths, which were neglected by many years, until 1913 when they were rediscovered. The baths received the Medal of Honor by the Europa Nostra Association.
