Girona Province is a beautiful region that has the most stunning landscapes and spectacular sceneries. It is located in the north eastern of Spain and has a population of 925, 381 people approximately. In this province, tourists can find cities that have attractive and singular features. The cities in this part of Spain include Lloret de Mar, Guixols, Olot, Blanes, Sant Feliu de Guixols, Figueres, Palafrugell and Salt. The city of Girona has really interesting landmarks and monuments of ancient times. Exploring Girona will be a memorable experience.

The province or Girona possesses one of the most beautiful natural resources in the Iberian Peninsula. In fact, the province is divided into three zones:
  • The Costa Brava
  • The Interior
  • The Girona Pyrenees

The Costa Brava
This part of the region has many sandy and warm beaches during the summer. The most popular sites in the Costa Brava are the Platja d'Aro, Pals, the L'Estartit, Tossa de Mar and Lloret de Mar.

The interior
The countryside of the province has one of the most awe-inspiring sceneries and beautiful landscapes in the entire Iberian Peninsula. In fact, this part of Spain has an excellent climate that provides a good environment for many fields of vegetables, fruits and sunflowers. This is the favorite place for many cyclists in Spain.

The Girona Pyrenees
The Pyrenees is another especial site in Girona Province where tourists can enjoy the breathtaking and magnificent views and practice the most extreme sports such as snowboarding, fishing, climbing and hiking at the same time.
