The Diocesan Museum (Museo diocesano) is not widely known and therefore recommendable. Housed in the former Hospital de la Caridad de los Reyes Catolicos, it was just recently converted into a museum. The Diocesan Museum of Cordoba displays an excellent collection of religious art. Outstanding tapestries and illustrated prayer books from the Mezquita cathedral are on permanent display. The building in itself is a wonder to behold, with several stories, a dining room and a chapel.

This princely residence with fourteen beautiful patios now houses a collection of leatherwork, fine furniture and an exhibition on falconry. These patios, lush with orange trees, myrtle plants, palm trees, cypresses and flowers, are treasures in themselves. This Palace was built in the 14th century from the joining of several houses, which gives it a somewhat anarchical appearance and explains why it has thirteen courtyards. But the Palace of Viana has an extraordinary collection of furniture as well. You will find there a huge collection of tapestries, porcelains, ceramics and paintings and a cynegetic library of 7000 volumes.
